Hannah Mae Rork

Hannah Mae Rork is the heart and inspiration behind the “Let’s Go H” Foundation. In her short 20 years, Hannah lived a life overflowing with purpose, joy, and unshakable faith. She had a unique way of lighting up every room she walked into—radiating love, laughter, and a deep-rooted belief in God’s plan. Whether it was through her fierce defense on the basketball court, her dream of becoming a kindergarten teacher, or the quiet moments of encouraging her friends, Hannah lived every moment with intentionality and compassion.

Hannah graduated from Arlington High School in 2022, where she was a three-year varsity player for the Arlington Girls Basketball team. Her teammates and coaches remember her for her relentless defense, selflessness, and unmatched determination. With Hannah on the court, winning was never about the scoreboard—it was about showing heart, grit, and giving it your all. During her time at Arlington, her team placed third in the state twice, a testament to her leadership and spirit.

After high school, Hannah went on to Grand Canyon University to study elementary education. Her dream was to become a kindergarten teacher and a basketball coach for young girls—roles she was born for. At GCU, she continued to play basketball recreationally, pouring her energy into every game. But more than anything, GCU became a place where her faith blossomed. Her relationship with Jesus became the anchor of her life, even as her world shifted in unimaginable ways.

In July 2024, Hannah was diagnosed with Stage 4 Epithelioid Sarcoma—a rare and aggressive cancer that affects only a small fraction of people each year. Despite the devastating diagnosis, Hannah met every challenge with courage, grace, and unwavering hope. She endured countless surgeries, treatments, and trials with the same tenacity she showed on the basketball court—and with a smile that never faded.

Hannah’s final months were a powerful reflection of the kind of person she was: generous, faith-filled, and deeply aware of the beauty in life. Even in the hospital, she wrote Bible verses on sticky notes to leave on strangers' cars, started a Bible study to uplift those around her, and never stopped finding light—even at 3 a.m. sunrises or mid-day mountain drives. She reminded us all to slow down and appreciate God’s creation and one another.

Hannah passed away in January 2025, but her impact continues through every life she touched. The “Let’s Go H” Foundation was created to honor Hannah’s legacy—her love for children, her passion for basketball, her deep faith, and her unwavering kindness. This foundation is a reflection of who Hannah was and what she believed in: helping others, sharing joy, and walking in faith—no matter the storm.

Hannah’s story didn’t end—it only changed forms. Her light lives on in every act of love, in every young girl picking up a basketball, in every classroom where a teacher leads with heart, and in every sunset that reminds us of her.

Let’s go, H—always.
